On Thursday, we officially kicked off the LaPointe campaign in a joint virtual event with State Senator Rob Martwick. Norwood Park Committeeman Frank Avino and Illinois AFL-CIO President Tim Drea gave glowing remarks about the two candidates and emphasized the need to vote this cycle.
Drea noted Lindsey’s knowledge and care for both her district and downstate Illinois, making her “a real leader for Illinois working families.” He also emphasized the need to support the Fair Tax and Joe Biden to “advance the causes of working people.”
